Steel for hot working, alloy based on Chromium, Molybdenum and Vanadium, insensitive to continuous variations in temperature, quenching in oil and air. Important the use of this material for the elaboration of Iron and Steel for Forging Prints and Cores of high quality, as well as for Gags, Punches and Chucks of Forging Machines. Also for the production of non-ferrous metals, for injection casting molds for light metals and zinc. It is also used for Metal Extrusion Press Tools, such as container bushings that are very demanding both thermally and mechanically. It is used for matrices, for special profiles of light metals, small chucks for pressing tubes, also for cooling in water. Ideal for compression discs with good resistance to metal adhesion.
