Austenitic stainless steel. Profiles: Round, Austenitic stainless steel. Profiles: Round, Sheet and Plate.

Stainless Steel to Chromium – Nickel that with the addition of Molybdenum make it of outstanding characteristics against corrosion and resistance to high temperatures. It is antimagnetic in its annealed state and is not hardened by heat treatment, however it has good properties for cold forming and stamping, it is one of the best Stainless Steels for countless applications, manufactured in electric oven, it is known as a standard type for the Aeronautical Industry, it is also used in the Paper industry, Textile, Chemical where the parts are subjected to the effects of salts and acids, in the Pharmaceutical Industry to avoid metal contamination. This type is of the highest range of resistance to stress and high temperatures among all Stainless Steels, at the same time as corrosion. This steel is the most resistant to general corrosion conditions, good resistance to sulfates, phosphates and other salts, also to acids such as sulfuric, phosphoric and sulfur, is less susceptible to be damaged by acetic acid vapors or solutions of chlorine, bromine or iodine. It resists temperatures of around 900 ºC (1650 ºF) still in constant service.
